A. Strictly Necessary & Functional Storage

Purpose: Stores your bookmark tiles, folder groupings, custom theme preference (dark/slate/indigo), layout mode (grid/list), and local cache.

Mechanism: Handled locally via chrome.storage.local inside the extension.

B. Authentication & Session Cookies

Purpose: Keeps you logged into your account if you choose to enable cloud synchronization.

Provider: Supabase Auth tokens stored securely in encrypted session storage.

C. Analytics & Performance Cookies (Website Only)

Purpose: Helps us understand how visitors interact with our marketing pages (page load times, error logs) to improve performance.

D. Advertising & Third-Party Cookies

Current Status: We do not deploy third-party advertising tracking networks or behavioral remarketing cookies inside the Clipptabs browser extension. If advertising or sponsorship banners are introduced in the future, this policy will be clearly updated.

When completing a checkout, our payment processor Paddle may place necessary fraud prevention and session cookies to securely process payments and detect fraudulent card attempts.
